Joseph and Amy De Graw family is doing well! We have our garden planted and growing. We bought our first lawn mower from Goodwill and our neighbor helped tweak it to get it to run like new. Joseph spent 10 minutes mowing a piece of grass smaller than 10'x10'. He mowed it twice. He came inside smelling of freshly cut grass and gasoline. It brought back memories of life in Michigan. Good times cutting a large lawn.
Joseph and I went on a "date" last Saturday to attend a Stake Preparedness fair. We divided to conquer as many classes as we could. My favorite was the sourdough class. My eyes were opened to the health benefits of fermenting wheat! Sounds like it is the better way to go.
Isaac and Lydia are doing great at school. Besides missing the bus a few times we are happy with their experiences at school. Isaac says, "We have interventions in the morning. Sometimes on Monday we get extra recess." He is excelling at the piano. I love hearing him practice and he is often self-motivated to practice. Lydia comes home before lunch, she is in Kindergarten. It is a nice break for Megan's long day a lone with Mom.
Megan and I are learning about insects and spiders in our preschool group. I ordered caterpillars so we could watch them grow into butterflies. It has been very interesting. The caterpillars are growing incredibly fast. It has been a fun experience and they haven't even formed a chrysalis yet.
OK. That is all from us.
Love, Amy and family
