Dear family,
Life’s been good here in Provo. We both stay busy with school and work, but we enjoy lots of other activities in our free time as well. We’ve now had the privilege of watching Stewart perform twice with Divine Comedy. He does a good job and is hilarious.
These past couple months, Stewart has also been an awesome help. Our car stopped starting up, so he helped us put in a new starter. The car now runs like clockwork. He also helped us get sweet seats at the Divine Comedy shows. He was so fun at the show as he would give us special treatment by targeting us with glow sticks and candy as the cast members throw them to the audience. He also went down with Reid to Spanish Fork to check out what was going on with dad’s renter. We love Stewart.
Together we’re building a piano stand for our awesome piano that we got from all the aunts. Uncle Curt has been kind in letting us borrow his tools. We’re making progress slow and steady. It is fun to use our hands to improve our home. We also have the responsibility of taking care of the grounds the duplex we rent.
This month Reid got his first opportunity at a paid videographer job. A small group of college students have invented a new security product, and as part of their marketing and advertising, they asked Reid to make them a couple videos to explain their product. They like his work, and it is exciting for Reid to be able to actually earn money for making videos.
(My turn) Rachelle is a fabulous wife. This past month we hit our six month mark of being married. She has taken such good care of me. She loves learning new things to cook and how to cut my hair and making our house a place to call home. She’s always been so faithful and by my side in everything I do. I try my best to be there for her and serve her. She’s so wonderful to live with, and she is my queen. Just had to brag for a little bit.
I think this is long enough. We love you all and are glad to be so close to many of you.
Love,
Reid & Rachelle
